SALTBURN TO WHITBY ANNUAL ABC WALK
Saturday 18th June
For the second year running, the annual ABC walk followed the Cleveland Way from Saltburn to Whitby…a gruelling 21 miles!
A coach picked up over 40 ABC members from Active Body Con at 7am and dropped them off at Saltburn to begin the walk.
This scenic route took the group through Skinningrove, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend.
Once in Whitby, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved serving of fish and chips at Papa’s restaurant before the return coach journey back to Stockton-on-Tees.
Not surprisingly, following the walk, there were a fair few cases of sunburn and blisters to contend with and most agreed that it was the toughest physical challenge of their lives! Now to wait and see where next year’s ABC walk will be!
