The months of April and Maysaw the Arrows taking part in several running events across the north-east.
On April 27th three members of the Arrows ran in the Kirklevington 5k. Dan Steer, Jude Gray and Andy Burton completed the three-mile course which started and finished at Kirklevington Prison. One section of the course actually allowed runners to run through part of the prison grounds.
Then on 1st May, Emma Hewling and Jamie Robertson completed the Gateshead Half Marathon. Despite this being his first ever half marathon distance, Jamie managed to finish in an amazing 1:41:54!
Emma and Jamie are now preparing for their first ever Ultra Marathon in July.
Meanwhile, Becca Race completed a 100k challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street. Becca managed to run a total of 102k during the month of May!
