I’m always one eventually to try and make a positive from a negative situation although I do, like many people, like to have a good moan about any unjust circumstances that happen, which may affect me.  Just like many, I feel sorry for myself for a portion of time as well, even if my circumstances pale into insignificance compared too many others.

In the past, this was always made worse though by thinking I always had to think positive or see the positive in everything no matter what was happening.  This, in my opinion, doesn’t do the good that many self-help guru’s or life coaches may say it does.

Thinking positive all the time can lead to a complete detachment of what is really happening and stop you from acting or reacting accordingly to solve any problems.

Therefore I’d rather see things as bad as they may be at that given time. Then I can have the few days where I moan about it, and feel fear about what may happen if I don’t act accordingly, to turn the negative situation into something that eventually may be a positive outcome.

As in my opinion THINKING POSITIVE ALL THE TIME CAN DAMAGE YOU.
