“DON’T LET THE FEAR OF FALLING KEEP YOU FROM FLYING”

On Saturday 24th July, ABC owner, Andy Burton along with ABC members: Robert Burrell, Lee Stewart and Lee Burrell completed a 15,000 feet sky dive as part of a 17-strong group to raise money for Alice House Hospice in Hartlepool.

The team succeeded in raising over £17,000 for this amazing local charity which has great personal meaning to Rob and Lee Burrell whose family member had been cared for in Alice House during the final stages of her illness.   Alice House had also recently cared for the very close friend of ABC trainer, Jude Gray, during her final battle with cancer.

Managing to jump out of a plane was a huge achievement for Andy who is notoriously scared of heights.  After the jump he said, “that was the best thing I’ve ever had in my life.”  He’s now planning his second sky dive in the very near future.
