On Sunday 24th April, the ABC Arrows participated in the Hamsterley Forest 10k. Arrows members, Dan Steer, Jamie Gilbey, Jamie Robertson and Jude Gray completed the 10k route…a picturesque but incredibly undulating course!
One hundred club runners from around the north-east entered the challenging six mile race. The first 5 kilometres took the runners on an ascent (brutal at times) to the highest point of the course – followed by a 5 kilometre descent which certainly but stress on the knees and ankles!
Well done to everyone who took part, particularly Jamie Robertson who completed the distance in 45:10, placing him in 10th position (4th in his age category).
