In recent years, England’s ladies football team have achieved great things… reaching the final of the UEFA Women’s Championship in 1984 and 2009, and winning in 2022!
Here at ABC, we train a number of girls who, having played football for local teams, have achieved national and European success.
Tia and Ruby both play for Boro Rangers. In January they secured a prestigious win against Aston Villa, followed by winning the National Junior Premier League in May. More recently, in June, they were part of the winning team in the Barcelona Girls Cup.
Meanwhile, 16 year-old Millie Burdon, has now received a full-time contract to play for Manchester City Ladies. Last year, Millie played for the England under 15s squad and signed her first Academy contract with Manchester City.
