On Sunday 31st October, six members of the ABC Arrows took part in the Crimdon Dene 10k.

It was a cold, wet day but the event was incredibly well organized.  Starting in Hart Village, the run headed off in the direction of Crimdon Dene through woodland then back again.

The bad weather made the 7 mile race incredibly challenging, particularly as there were lots of inclines and the terrain was very muddy and slippy in places.  Despite that there was great camaraderie amongst the runners and the marshals encouraged the participants right until the last step.

Once out of the wet clothes, everyone was able enjoy the free buffet and drinks laid on by the event organisers.

The first official ABC Arrows event…looking forward to seeing more people taking part in future events.  Next one is the Dalton Park 5k/10k on December 5th
