Despite having watched clients hit goals they could only have dreamed of (i.e. strength gained, weight lost) my best achievement was in curing a shoulder issue.
 
The lady in question couldn’t lay on her left side and would frequently wake up screaming in pain. Within a few weeks she told me she slept all through the night even waking on her side pain free.
 
Due to my knowledge and her hard work her quality of life greatly improved. This is why I love what I do and will always ensure the best service is given as I know how life changing it can be.

Good health is the single most important thing in life, in my opinion; the ability to achieve things you enjoy whilst staying healthy, the ability to keep mentally balanced in the midst of everything that life throws at you and staying in good physical health whilst achieving things you want to achieve.

Having experienced some extreme and tough circumstances in my own life, I know that balancing everything can be challenging. However, this is where I can help you. Whether you’re an elite level athlete, busy businessman or women or an ambitious driven young person. I have been weight training for over 10 years. I fell in love with strength sports whilst serving in the Royal Navy and I have been competing in Powerlifting and Strongman for around 4 years now. 

Weightlifting and Strength training in particular changed my life and gave me great confidence and happiness.

It’s now my passion to share that with my clients and gym members, teaching them all the lessons I have learned over the years.

I was a late starter when it came to joining the fitness industry and it wasn’t until my 30’s that I truly fell in love with the process of having a healthier and more active lifestyle. The benefits I discovered throughout my own training became more than just a physical journey but my whole mental state of mind and wellbeing changed dramatically. I decided that if I could do it, then why not help others realise that they could do it as well? Self-love, self-discipline and confidence are things that I discovered in my PT career and this will always be the ethos in helping anybody I meet.

Since my school years, I have always known I wanted to progress my career as a Sports Trainer. From studying Sports at school, applied sports training at college to then studying Biomechanics and Sports training through a Bachelor of Science Honours degree at Leeds Beckett University, it has always been my main passion to use this knowledge, to help others. I love working with sport specific training; playing different sports throughout my life, gives me the ability to know the main demands of these sports, and how to apply and improve these through training. It has now become my aim to pass on my knowledge and experience to help others create a vision of their future self.
